Highly Recommended.

In our family, because of our love of primates and rainforests we try our best to avoid palm oil. Just because something claims to be “organic” or “non GMO,” doesn’t mean it uses sustainable palm oil, which isn’t grown on deforested land or encourages deforestation in Asian rainforests. Many of the “healthy brands,” like Traders Joes, Sprouts and Whole Foods continue to stock and use environmentally irresponsible products.

So when I looked at “Vegan Rob’s Cauliflower Puffs” I was pleased to find it used Sunflower and Saffron oil and had only one ingredient I couldn’t pronounce. It was “inulim,” a plant based fiber.

The Puffs are vegan, non-GMO, gluten free and with 8% Daily percentage fiber but 70 fat calories per serving. It also claims to have live culture and probiotics in them, so if that’s important to you, then that’s added value.

The above are all good qualities, but most importantly these taste amazing. Some “healthy,” puffs on the market are extremely bland and these are salted nicely. These Cauliflower puffs have a very slight sweet tone underneath, with a hearty salty taste and a slight Cauliflower flavor that tastes remarkably like those cheese puffs on the market.

I loved them, my son loved them, I definitely think they are a worthy competitor to the cheese puffs in the supermarket. Not all healthy vegan non GMO stands up to the ordinary processed food in the markets but I think not only this one does, it actually tastes better.

At $2.99, it’s affordable, as sometimes these kinds of foods are extremely overpriced.
